Time to show what you know about fractions!

Next week we will be creating a "Fraction In Action" slideshow in order to demonstrate what you have learned about fractions so far. You will be using your knowledge of fraction concepts which include: identifying fractions, simplifying fractions and adding/subtracting fractions.

Project Specifics
Work in groups of 3 to take pictures of fractions in action around the school. You must have 2 pictures for each category:
  1. Identify Fractions
  2. Simplify Fractions
  3. Add Fractions
  4. Subtract Fractions

After the pictures have been taken and uploaded to the computer, you will work with your group to create a slide show at www.slide.com of these fractions. Your slide show should have 14 slides
  • A Title
  • 8 pictures (2 pictures for each category above)
  • 4 category slides (see categories above)
  • A Credit slide (which includes the names of all people in your group)

You may choose any style, skin, theme, background, or effect that you like but you MAY NOT add music.

After you have created your slideshow, we will add them to the wiki for everyone to view.

Here's an example of what your final project should look like:
